Belong to the story

The Baltersan Fellowship.

A community for everyone who values Baltersan Castle: its story, its preservation, and what it might become. Join freely, lend your skills or become a recurring supporter.

A fellowship with a purpose

Preserving a place. Connecting people.

The Fellowship is being revived as a circle of friends, volunteers, historians, craftspeople and supporters inspired by the future of Baltersan Castle. You do not have to contribute money to belong.

Stay connected

Receive occasional news about the castle, research and conservation plans.

Share your skills

Help with research, documentation, events, photography, outreach or social-media activity.

Support its future

Give voluntarily each month to support the castle owner's Baltersan-related work.

All levels are voluntary. These are non-charitable supporter arrangements organised by Lichtsome Hoose Ltd, the private owner of the castle. Monthly figures are suggested giving levels, not separate Buy Me a Coffee membership plans. No level confers rights over the property.

To give monthly, select the monthly option on Buy Me a Coffee and check the amount and currency before confirming. The current Buy Me a Coffee page does not automatically enrol you in a particular Fellowship tier. Contact us to request recognition and confirm your preferred level. Recurring payments continue until cancelled under the payment provider terms. Paid support is a voluntary ongoing contribution, not a charitable membership subscription, investment or purchase of rights. Benefits described are goodwill acknowledgements, subject to availability.

Participate in the Fellowship

Your contribution can be more than money.

There is room for historians, local residents, archivists, artists, musicians, experienced conservation volunteers and people who can help tell Baltersan's story online.

Offer your help

Please understand who you are supporting

The Fellowship is organised by Lichtsome Hoose Ltd, the private limited company that owns Baltersan Castle. Financial contributions are paid to the company and may support conservation-related planning, care, historic research and heritage activities, including related costs. These are not donations to a registered charity; Gift Aid is unavailable.

Contributions are intended to support Lichtsome Hoose Ltd and its castle-related activities, but this existing external checkout may display Baltersan 1584 as the campaign/payee name. Check that information before payment. Receipts supporting the company will be separately tracked for transparency but not held in a separate charitable trust. The castle may be sold or transferred, and support does not create property, investment, voting, repayment or sale-proceeds rights. Regular support may be cancelled prospectively. Read the full contribution disclosure before paying.
